About Me

I grew up in South Cumbria, and after having lived in London for 4 years, I decided it was time to head back to the countryside. I run a green directory - green pages (formerly- One Green Earth)- helping consumers find environmentally sound products and services.

We have just launched Ashlack Yurts- where guests come and stay in our enormous Mongolian yurt. In the heart of a stunning oak wood with views of the mountains and the sea, it provides a large communal space that's a great getaway for a group or family.

I enjoy horse riding, swimming in lakes, local pubs, walking. There's so much to discover in the Lakes off the beaten track that would suit individual interests. With a bit of advice and guidance from me, you can discover the real Lake District in your own style.

Come and stay well off the beaten track in our spaceous mongolian yurt. Located in the middle of a beautiful Oak wood. Equipped with a woodburning stove, fresh bedding, kitchen area, firepit/bbq outside, compost toilet, safari-style shower.
