Introducing Kuldip - your Friend at the other End!

About Me

I was born and brought up in Bhuj (Kutch) in a poet community, harmonious with all cultures and communities. I am familiar with most known and some of the hidden routes of Kutch district.

Previously I have worked as a Project coordinator with organizations such a world food programme, Help Age India and Shroffs Foundation Trust from Relief to Rehabilitation programmes after the great earthquake of Gujarat in Jan-2001.

I went to England to study Health and Social Care and learnt a lot about Western Culture. Now I am back in India to develop my own tourism website and link with international communities.

I love hosting tourists locally and to share, discuss and let others learn about my culture, exchanging ideas for my own knowledge and creating safe, trustworthy and friendly network across the globe.

I am sure people will find the colourful culture and community of Kutch very interesting and I am looking forward to helping visitors to experience everything as local.

Kutch boasts very interesting geological and anthropological history. The Great Desert of Kutch once was the bed of the River Indus. But in 1819 a massive earthquake changed its route from India to Pakistan and left approx. 20000 and more sq. km desert of Kutch, allowing water from Arabian sea and leave salt on the surface of land when temperature reaches +40 C in summer.

The ancient Harrappan Civilization can also be found here in Dholavira-Kutch, known to have settled in 3000 bc.

Wish you good luck and looking forward to see you soon in Bhuj (Kutch)

Cheers!
Kuldip Gadhvi
