About Me

I am an enthusiastic tourism student, stuck in conventional tourism for so long and thus disillusioned, finding that none of those social and economic benefits that they preached, actually reached the local communities.

Now I am re-discovering the beauty and the power of tourism as a tool to bring benefits to local communities (the way I always dreamed about it!), I have been instrumental in launching new initiatives in tourism industry in Oman, redefining the way tourism is run in the country. So I remain committed to promoting tourism, responsibly.

I believe in the oneness of human beings, love culture and nature and enjoy reading books on Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology and Management and I am very passionate about Ghazals (a genre of Indian music rich in poetic expression)

I am an Indian, but since I have been working in the tourism industry in Oman for a long time. I can very authoritatively speak to visitors about any feature of Oman as a destination. As they say, your friendly, neighborhood travel advisor....so go ahead and ask me about Oman !

Oman is a charming destination, very rich in nature and culture and a varied topography - quite unique and authentic Arabian country. Located in the gulf, Oman is the "Jewel of Arabia" still waiting to be discovered. So if you are looking for culture, nature or soft adventure (walks, hikes, diving, camel safari etc.) or just a relaxing beach holiday, Oman is the right choice.
