My name is Olga Vozniuc and I am 31-years-old. I am an owner of two franchises for Moldova - UNIGLOBE Travel (business travel) and World Hotel Link (incoming leisure travel).

Welcome to the white city of Chisinau!

Yes, that's right - this is the name our city has got due to its beautiful scenery opening from above. From the bird's-eye view you can notice majestic buildings which like mushrooms rise and are buried in verdure of the city located on seven hills.

Our small (there are only 5 people) but young and very solidary staff of UNIGLOBE Slavion Travel is very proud of the city and we are always ready to share the secrets of its history - to tell you the story of our capital, give advice regarding better accommodation (hotel or apartment) during your business or leisure stay here, offer interesting 1-2 hour Chisinau city tour, unforgettable wine tours and different other tours around the republic of Moldova; we can offer you the best choice for avian tickets to/from Moldova and ground transportation as well as advise the nice restaurant to eat and spend your time.

For sure you will have a wonderful time here in our city which has a long-century history. Moldova had been a part of Roman, Kievan Russia, Ottoman and Russia Empires and only on the 31st of August 1991 it became an independent state. This mixture of cultures, languages and peoples influenced greatly on city development where you can meet people of different nationalities.

According to the first documentary witnesses our city (Chisinau - English translation from Romanian language or Kishinev - English translation from Russian language) was founded on the 17th of July 1934 and its name means "spring". Its geographical location: 470 21 northern latitude and 280 501 eastern longitude. Nowadays the city of Chisinau is an important administrative, economical, scientific, cultural and touristic center of the Republic of Moldova with the population about one million inhabitants including suburbs. Chisinau is divided on five sectors: Center, Boiucani, Botanica, Riscani and Ciocana, and in each of them we can offer you an appropriate apartment. If you are interested in hotel accommodation there is a wide range of hotels in such sectors like Center and Botanica from budget hotels (starting from 35 eur/night) to top luxury ones.

Almost in any of our hotels you can taste the national cuisine. But if you want something unique to feel the history of our city we are always ready to order for you a table in the most beautiful restaurant - La Taifas Restaurant.

Over the last several years period Moldavian Wine Festival remains the most significant event in our region of Europe which traditionally takes place on the second Saturday of October. You will be pleasantly surprised to see street festivities, dancing and taste wines from different Moldavian wineries on the central streets of the city during Wine festival is holding.
