About Me

I am Sumit Bhosle and I am a Sound Engineer by profession. Currently, I am working with a leading publication house here in India as a Senior Technical Correspondent for a magazine concerned with hi-end audio and video products which come to us from all around the world. My job is to review all these products with a customer oriented approach and then write about these products so that our readers get a subjective opinion if to buy a particular product or not. Well this is what you will find me doing on weekdays.
On weekends I am an avid trekker wandering and exploring the huge and mesmerizing Sahyadri mountain range in Maharashtra. I have pursued trekking as a hobby since almost 8 years now, which also includes bouldering (rock climbing). For the past two years, I have been working as an active volunteer with Youth Hostels Association of India, Kandivali Unit wherein I participate in all the trekking related activities and work as a leader for some of them. With this I get an opportunity of traveling and thoroughly exploring every nook and corner of the Sahyadris. I can proudly say that I have covered almost 40 to 45 forts in Maharashtra and am highly optimistic about covering many many more in the coming years. I also find myself lucky for the job profile that I am in. As I work as a Senior Correspondent I also get to travel all around the world primarily in the search of latest gadgets and other techie stuff. This quest has taken me to most obvious places (when it comes to technology) like Japan and Singapore. By now you must already gathered that I love to travel and spend time outdoors where I get to see, feel and experience something new and exciting on every curve that I come across.
