I am a Kiwi who lives in London and like to call both New Zealand and England "home". I have been in London for three and a half years and love everything this busy, bustling, dynamic city has to offer.
I have a passion for helping small businesses and not-for-profit organisations achieve all they can, and am currently setting up my own consultancy business in this area. I do a number of volunteer activities in London and am looking forward to welcoming all the visitors to London in 2012 for the Olympic Games by being a London Ambassador.
I believe in living in the moment and cherishing every opportunity that comes my way. Whenever I can I like to be a visitor in my own city (getting around on my bicycle helps this), or take weekend breaks into the English countryside or longer trips into Europe. I love travelling and meeting people and sharing new experiences. I truly believe that life is about the experiences you have and the people you have them with.
I live in North West London in the borough of Brent, the must ethnically diverse borough in the UK. I cycle around London and so find everywhere to be in easy reach - Hampstead Heath (a great place to recharge your batteries whatever the weather), Regents Park for picnics, the West End for shopping and theatre, the canals for weekend walking, Hyde Park for people watching, Farringdon for food, Camden for the markets, Primrose Hill for potential celebrity spotting, Kensington for the museums. Whatever you like, you will find somewhere in London that excites and surprises you.
I would love to share that excitement with you.
