About Me

My name is Vinko Radonic. I am originally from Croatia where I was born and grow up. I live in UK since 1991 but travelling back home to the beautiful island of Korcula usually in summer and stay there for a few months playing music and helping tourists that are sometimes lost, they don't know what to do or they just want to ask for something else they want to see or experience on the island.

My main work is with disabled people. I am specialised into the assistive technology, which is technology that helps disabled and elderly people to live more independently in their homes. Because I live-in 24/7 with them and working between 1 to a few weeks with them all around UK, I do travel within UK as well. I also travel every year somewhere around the world, but from May to September I will be again in Korcula ;-)

Because I was always involved in entertainment (since I was 14), most of the people know me in Korcula and I know them. I am always welcome by locals, it doesn't matter they are wealthy or poor. I know my way around very well. My apartment is on a crossroad and I have EVERY summer tourists knocking on my door asking to rent apartment or room. I walk with them around my neighbourhood to see who is having free room or apartment. I introduce them to local people and they love it. They all appreciate what I am doing for them. I really have a passion to help others in anyway, especially when they are lost or they don't know what to do, where to go, ...

So, if you need ANY help with travelling to Korcula, what to see, where to eat GOOD food, where to eat cheap, what other places to visit while in Korcula, about rambling, diving, where to shop, what interesting spots to visit while in Korcula (but they are NOT in a brochure), where to rent a bike, scooter, car, buggy, ask me about agro-tourism, visiting vineyards, wine tasting, going with a locals to fish, etc ... you name it - I'll deliver it !!! I promise :-)
