About Me

I have been living in Chorlton near to Manchester City Centre for over two years, however I was already familiar with Manchester as my mum and dad had spent their university years and first few years of teaching living in Manchester before moving and settling in the Lake District, so we made many visits to the city as my sister and I were growing up.

Since moving to Manchester my boyfriend who I moved here with has set up his own plumbing business and I have worked for Manchester United, completed a Masters in Events Management and at the end of September I started working as an assistant lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University. My role at the university is to assist students in working with charities to create a one off event in and around Manchester.

In my spare time I like to visit the many art galleries in and around Manchester many of which are free to look around. My boyfriend and I are great fans of eating out and we are always trying new places. This passion has come from my mums partner who was the head chef of the Michelin Starred Sharrow Bay in the Lake District. And to burn off all those calories I like explore the many pleasant walks in and around the city especially the country parks that are located around Manchester.
