Scottish but have lived and run my own business in the Lake District for 34 Years. Now working part-time at Grasmere National Trust Information Centre.

My favourite things are Japanese language and Culture, and I visit when I can. Have been learning the language for many years.

Favourite Country Venezuela, especially Angel Falls. But to me the best place in the World is the English Lake District. Days off are spent wandering the Fells (hills), visiting churches and villages and trying to find out about every little corner of this area. I collect old and out of print books of the area.

Vegetarian family, ask me where the best Vegetarian food in Grasmere is, it's off the beaten track but worth the visit!
