About Me
My name is Laura Payne, I am originally Dutch, but have been living in Albania for the last 8 years (2003), while being married to an Albanian. I am one of the managing partners of Outdoor Albania, an Albanian tour operator, specializing in trips exploring Albanian nature and culture. Appart from offering cultural tours we offer walking holidays and outdoor activities. Such as rafting, hiking, trekking, mountain biking, sea kayaking and snowshoeing.
I am local, and am promoting sustainable tourism in Albania. I would like to bring as many travelers as possible, to small scale accommodations in Albania, in order to create better economical circumstances for the Albanian locals.
Albania is a small country bordering Montenegro, Kosovo, macedonia and Greece. We have many wonderfull mountains, hidden beaches and hospitable people. If you want to discover the off the beaten track Albania, ask me any questions you have.
