Hello there
I'm a journalist and travel blogger, originally from London, who has been living in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for the past 9 years.
I see it as my adopted home and would love to share my passion with you and show you all the many great things it has to offer, both on and off the beaten path.
I write regularly for local newspapers and magazines which means I'm constantly learning about new things to do and places to check out in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. I've also worked for various arts organisations for several years here, giving me good knowledge of Edinburgh's many cultural highlights.
I love seeking out the best places to eat and drink (of which there is a seemingly endless supply) visiting museums, watching live music and exploring the city on foot, where I am constantly discovering hidden gems tucked away off the main thoroughfares.
I also love nature and going for long, gentle walks along the rivers and canals and through Edinburgh's wonderful abundance of green spaces, where if you're lucky you can spot some wildlife.
Oh yes and I'm not above a bit of window shopping either!
I'd be delighted to show you around some time. And If there's anything else you'd like to know about me just give me a shout.
If you're at all interested in train travel you might like to check out my personal travel blog: Trains on the Brain.
