About Me

Born and bred in Sussex and lived in Horsham for 32 years I am passionate about the local area and what hidden gems you can uncover within it. My family are all from Sussex for a number of generations and indeed, we had a bakers in a small town called Lancing and were rumoured have have the first van in the town!

I love pretty much anything that life throws in my path and am as happy mooching about the streets of Brighton or Chichester as I am up on the South Downs walking in the rain or sun, admiring the beauty of the National Park. I have taken groups walking up on the South Downs and as such have learnt a few of the legends and some of the history that lies within the land.

I currently run a website, dedicated to helping people with their walks and their travels. Some of the trips that I have done and thigs I get up to are on this website. This shows my interest in travel and that people want to see something interesting. Something that they can take back to their friends and family that perhaps other people haven't. I have contributed to local magazine blogs on Sussex and written for other, smaller community magazines on local short walks.
