I am a wheelchair user, provider of travel information to disabled people and travel blogger.
I am passionate about promoting accessible tourism to disabled people, and showing people that have perhaps lost confidence because of their disability that travel can be made easier with the right information.
Kendal is an old market town situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the country - the English Lake District.
I have lived in Kendal all my life, and love the local produce - from food to specialist shops.
Kendal might seem and unlikely place for good accessibility, with it's cobbles and historical buildings - but with good planning and a little imagination, it is possible!
Follow my experiences of travel, tourism and leisure as a wheelchair user.
Tourism for All UK is an independent charity supporting leisure and tourism opportunities for all, operating an information service to older and disabled people, and working with the industry and government to raise the standards of welcome to all guests.
