Introducing Helen - your Friend at the other End!

About Me

Hello I'm Helen Moriarty a former passionate traveller now firmly re rooted back in Manchester, near my home town of Northwich. I have lived in this region for most of my life and love all it has to offer.

I currently work for an Environmental Regeneration Charity in Manchester's city centre. We work with people to help them improve their neighbourhoods in a range of ways from allotments and apiaries to play areas and sculptures!

I have studied Adventure Recreation Management in the Lake District and am currently studying, via distance learning, Responsible Tourism Management in Leeds. I'm committed to responsible travel and as Tripbod can help you to access opportunities / experiences in Manchester that only a local can find!

Manchester is an AMAZING place with a unique buzz! This buzz is created by its impressive architecture, exciting arts scene and the people who live here.

There is an impressive range of accessible arts in Manchester with art deco cinemas, world class theatres and a range of galleries containing a huge scope of contemporary and classic art. There are plenty of attractions including museums exploring Manchester's industrial heritage and the set of Coronation Street! The music scene here is second to none, home to Elbow, New Order and The Smiths bands flock to Manchester to perform in some legendary venues, a good night out is guaranteed in Manchester's Northern Quarter. There are also plenty of Green spaces in and around Manchester offering an interesting spin on the city.

There is A LOT to explore here and I'd be happy to help filter through all the options, both hidden and obvious, to help you have a fantastic trip!
