I am Nilantha Megasuriya of Kandy Sri Lanka. I have obtained my first degree (science degree) from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and recently completed my master degree in Business Studies Degree at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Further I have just completed course work of certificated course in Wildlife Conservation & Management at Open University of Sri Lanka. Moreover I am a member of Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (FOG-University of Colombo). FOG is a social movement of bird lovers which helps to protect the bird diversity in Sri Lanka.
I like to travel diverse places, mainly in Sri Lanka while I do wildlife photography as my hobby. Also I like to interact with different cultural groups not only in Sri Lanka but also around the globe.
When I was traveling unknown places, my main problem was lack of reliable information about those places. Also it is too difficult get the reliable information and some times we are confused with available information. I got to know that Tripbod is an organization which helps travelers to bridge the information gap. It is very useful for independent travelers in order to make their journey very successful and safe. Further I am very interested to travel diverse places while studying those places. Additionally it is a great thing to share information with cross cultural travelers. Therefore I thought, Tripbod is the best place to share my experiences and knowledge in a professional way.
Sri Lanka is an island of 65,000 km2 in the Indian Ocean, called the small miracle in the Indian Ocean. It is very rich in terms of diversity, extends to every aspects of life - biological, cultural, heritage, foods, adventure, etc.
