Introducing Lee - your Friend at the other End!

About Me

I have been in Laos for over 9 years now and my love for this country has only grown over this period. I originally arrived as a backpacker and never left. I first lived and worked in the town of Vang Vieng as a kayaking guide on the scenic Nam Song and Nam Lik Rivers with a local ecotourism company. From there I worked my way up to General Manager and over the course of this period, got to live in Luang Namtha, Luang Prabang, Vientiane and Pakse - a great way to see so much of Laos.

After around 3 years here, I decided to move on and helped start a Lao-owned company called Teamworkz - your trusted local travel experts for Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. Travel agency by day, Teamworkz also specialize in sustainable tourism and marketing, and use their unique understanding of their local areas to help customers, clients and friends find what they are really looking for out of their visit to this amazing region. Of paramount important to Teamworkz is to make sure that the destinations we live and operate in benefit from tourism as well. From what we do to how we do it, the principles of responsible tourism are embedded in our operations.

Of course you can book hotels and tours through Teamworkz, but if you would just like some information, to find out the best place to drink a cold Beer Lao, have questions about visas or would like to share your photos of this region with us, then please just write on our wall (www.facebook.com/Teamworkz.Asia) or drop us a line at info@teamworkz.asia

Work is not all that keeps me here though!! I have grown deeply attached to the people, the nature and the general peaceful atmosphere that you find throughout this country.

Some unique local experiences I can help you plan are:

- Ever wanted to ride an elephant - or learn how to look after one? This is something I can arrange for you.
- A night out in Vientiane - whether this is dinner while watching a traditional dance performance, or some of the wonderful Beer Lao and some live music.
- Want to know about some volunteering options? There are not many in Laos, but I can help you find what is available.
- From luxury cruises along the mighty Mekong river, to hotel options and day tours - we can help you find exactly what you are looking for.
- Trekking, village homestays, kayaking, elephant trekking, mountain biking, car rental - just ask and our local expertise will be yours!!!

Ask me about these experiences and anything else in Laos - I'd love to help you plan your perfect trip!
